Please Pray for John's Family:
John Worth was a dear Christian man who attended our church with his precious family. John, father of six (ages 6-19) & husband of Jennifer Worth, was recently & unexpectedly diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease." John went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Jennifer and their children need our prayer & support - Please Pray for them & consider helping them!
It is also worth noting that the expenses for a family of eight are high with normal circumstances, but the expenses for this family are compounded by what ALS does to one's life. A benefit account entitled "Just for John" has been set up to help the Worth family with these expenses. If you feel led to donate to this cause, checks written out to "Just for John" can be sent (in care of Pastor Kabel) to 5174 Seneca Street, West Seneca, NY 14224.
