"In the Beginning"
	Calvary Heights Baptist Church was started by Reverend Charles Perkins (second from left) in 1972 and they first met at the Community Building in South Wales, NY.

The present church property was then purchased.  The church building was built in 1975.

The Pastorate
	Pastor Perkins stayed until 1976. Kenneth Plunk then Pastored Calvary Heights Baptist Church from 1976-1977. George Johnson filled the office of Pastor from February 1978 until December 1978. The church then called Pastor Dale R. Nuijens to fill that role as Shepherd of CHBC in March 1979.

The Addition
	Over the years, God blessed and the church grew.  Due to this growth, the church moved to expand its facilities in 1997.  The church's members worked diligently and consistently for months to see this project completed in 1998.

Mission Accomplished
	This addition brought much more space in the auditorium, lower and upper lobbies as well classroom expansion.  This addition brought convenience and safety with a large carport and made our church handicap accessible, complete with an elevator.

Further Updates
	Since the completion of the church addition in 1998, God has blessed our church facilities with further "additions." In 2003, our church auditorium became Air Conditioned. In 2005, our church was able to Pave the Parking Lot. In 2007, our Sanctuary Seating became cushioned and ergonomically sound with new seating. In 2008, our church purchased a new Audio/Video System in the sanctuary.
